The idea for Vybe Sunglasses was founded during the summer of 2012 by, then, sixteen-year-old Chase Denison. Like many great ideas, Vybe began as a series of sketches at the kitchen table after Chase walked out of a commercial retailer, wondering why he was dropping hundreds of dollars on a pair of generic sunglasses. Chase knew about sunglasses having removable lenses, but what if you could have a pair of shades with a combination of colors and lenses that would be exclusive to you? Why could you customize your own shoes, but not sunglasses?

With a combination of stick-to-itiveness and sleepless nights, Chase’s idea started to take form in late 2012. In a span of a year and a half, with the help from young engineers, the aesthetics of the sunglasses were complete. In the fall of 2013, Vybes were ready to go into production. At the age of 17, Chase had a factory putting his vision into production. Not bad for a couple of sketches on a kitchen table.

Vybes mission is to provide a different and affordable product that will flip the sunglass market on its head, finally giving an outlet to an ever-evolving society that values independence and personalization.

Vybe was created by young adults to reflect what today’s youth values in the accessories they wear. Our generation thrives on being independent, and we have finally given them the personalization they’ve always wanted with their sunglasses.

The sky is the limit with our product. Whether you want to match your Vybes to your school colors, favorite sports team, or your outfit, the possibilities are endless. We’ve just begun to scratch the surface of what Vybe has to offer.

We have some wicked awesome ideas brewing over at Vybe HQ, and we can’t wait to share them with you.

Our vision is to create a brand. One that today’s society can relate to. One that change the world’s perception on design, entrepreneurship, and culture. We’re setting out to strike the sunglass market with some lightning. The world’s youth is capable of more than people give them credit for. Vybe will be a testament to that. Vybe is setting a precedent for what normal kids can do with a little bit of determination and creativity.

Vybe’s will be a catalyst for a revolution. One that’ll give the world a broader perspective on what men and women across the world can do. One that’ll break the mold of stagnation and habit. One that’ll give the world a little bit more of an imagination.

We’re excited to announce our recent partnership with the Food Aid International Organization. They are a registered non-profit organization that feeds malnourished children across the world. Feel free to check out their website here.
